Kathy has been a PGA/LPGA Professional for the past 25 years. Prior to that Kathy was the Teaching Professional at Medina Golf & CC and also Minneapolis Golf Club. Kathy’s simplistic approach to the golf swing is easy to understand and she works with all levels of golfers from beginners to professionals.
Kathy Swanson was the first female president of the Minnesota Section PGA in 2007 and first woman in the history of the PGA of America to be selected as Golf Professional of the Year and a recipient of “Women Industry Leader” for the Minneapolis/ St Paul Business Journal.
Kathy’s husband Jon was a PGA Life Member and was the Director of Business Development for MinnCo Credit Union. Their son Matt is a professional golfer and a caddy at Whisper Rock Golf Club in Scottsdale AZ. Their daughter Lauryn works for Cargill,
